Not only is the Bacchus statue and fountain part of Remich’s esplanade, but a special celebration is dedicated to the Roman god of wine.
The Bacchus celebration, called ‘Bacchusfescht’, which takes place on Assumption day in August is a large flea market with over 250 stands spanning from the esplanade to the Dr. F. Kons Square.
You will also find plenty of culinary surprises and of course the best of luxembourgs wines and cremants.
